Embrace Stability

It is strange that when you wake up from a night of sleeping too much that you’re still tired. I have normally been awake for at least an hour by now, but today I am fresh out of bed and a little tired and confused. More so than normal.

At this point in time my brain feels looked behind a cage that I can’t escape. I finally had a productive thought and almost immediately lost it but I have got it. The forgotten phase 4.

I have mentioned several times my plan to get more income for my mother and how I hope it all matters. We are now in the dying time. What I have heard is that most people that are going to die do so between Christmas and Easter. That means we just have to get through April and we’re good.

What phase 4 is is stability. We often start to act on our next plan once one is finished. Like I get those two properties rented, the annuity is paying, and we have improved our position. So then I go to a small local bank with the properties owned by the family and attempt to borrow against them to get more properties and more income.

Doing so immediately after having gotten the first plan out of the way would be foolish, but it is how some people act. There needs to be a leveling off. A period of stability. The business has been in a position of putting more money out than it is bringing in for the past couple months.

Most of that has come from money that was saved up because we did have a good period of stability before the 1031 exchange could be initiated. Now we need to reach another period of stability and stretch it out for a period of time.

Once the business is producing a cash flow that can support paying all the taxes and insurances and providing a monthly income plus money in savings then we can move onto the next plan. At this rate I would say that would be smart to do in six months to a year after the two newly acquired properties are producing.

I am not sure if these thoughts should count for anything as they are ones I am having on a tired and overslept brain, but I do think it is worth remembering to let there be a period of stability before the next action.
