Another morning where I can’t think of a title. It looked like it snowed after all. It was supposed to arrive Friday night but instead came Sunday. The news reported up to 18 inches. That freaked people out. Instead we got two or less inches of powder. It is easy to drive through and shouldn’t cause any disruptions to life. It will. this city sees white and panics.
We are are and we need to move. We lightly made plans. I need to check in with those people and see if we can do anything. The kids need to get out. We did so briefly and spent too much money at Target. The boys got their report cards and Windsor knocked it out of the park. Turned some of his DPs into APs and eliminated all areas of weakness. Roland hasn’t gotten his yet but he is Roland. I don’t expect any pullback.
That meant they had earned a prize and also a haircut. I also found out how quickly my mind moved. It went to a level of insanity when it came to math and I ended up tipping double what I wanted to. I first handed them $70 on a $56 bill, saw a suggested tip of $12, poorly did math, handed an additional $20 and said, “I just need a ten back.” It is a total of ten extra dollars but it is funny that 56 + 24 = 80. My mind did math without me even knowing.
It is weird how that happens. I know the human mind is one of the greatest processing engines ever built but I’ve never seen it in practice. I’m sure I have but it isn’t something you notice. Life hardly ever slows down enough for that to happen. Boy, now I am ready to just go relax and read. First I should text our friends.
This also depends on the bowling ally still being opened. I should call. Confirm that they are. It would be good family fun, and that is what we need.
