Riding in the Car

With this being the last week before school starts we are going to squeeze in one last trip to Busch Gardens. I also have to figure out how to get the boys hair cuts. It is all a fun and exciting time at the end of summer.

I woke up with lots of thoughts but they all left me when I sat down to write. I need to figure out how to get through this hiring process for the company. It is quickly becoming my least favorite thing. Which is now starting to include sleeping. I can’t stop sleeping on my shoulder in a way that has it in pain in the mornings.

One thing that is always interesting with the family is the car ride. It is not always the best time together but at least one of us is having fun. Or there is a one in five chance that someone is. It is a random set of events of whether one to five people are having fun.

We got to figure out the shoulder thing at some point. I don’t know how I feel about the car rides with my family. I am starting to dislike driving at all. It feels like a loss of control. I can’t do anything but drive.

Time is moving slow this morning. The clock is ticking down and mornings like this when I have no ideas and just write random words are my least favorite. I like having a topic, but we can’t ignore the benefits of a morning habit. It is a great thing.

I don’t know that it is. I don’t know if anyone has ever studied the impact of journaling vs not. It clearly doesn’t help with thoughts. Other than I am tired of spending money. Going to Busch Gardens is not wise when that is the mood because all there is to do there is spend money.

These places always want more of your money and your kids always want to spend it, and now my neck hurts. Probably because of the shoulder. That is it. Time is almost up.
