Once again my phone battery is plummeting to near uselessness earlier in the day. I have a couple ideas why and a few solutions. One is a new phone. That would solve the issue and make everything work a little better. I should look up when I got my phone as it is two generations old but I am not sure it is two years old. It feels like I just got it.
On the other hand I could stop using my phone as much. I was working on a solution to that yesterday in Skyzone when I was walking the AI through the entire system for investing. It is getting complex as there are layers of rules. First I need to keep a certain amount of float because of the futures positions. I would like them to survive. So that is one barrier.
The next is that the weekly deposit needs to be invested intelligently. That was the work of yesterday and it might not be the best system but I had the AI research the prognosticators that had the best price target records for each of the stocks I own and then label them as urgent add, ok the add, and not right now depending on how far they were from their 12 month price target.
Then there is how much money goes where. Only a portion of the weekly deposit goes into durable ownership. Another portion exists to try and get more money. That goes into the stock or index ETF that is expected to have the biggest move that day and has 0DTE options available.
There are parts of this an agent would be better at than me. It would be able to execute quicker and follow the rules much better. It wouldn’t be constrained by the physical world or meetings or other normal activities that stop deals from happening in an optimal manner. Imagine how much money has been lost because someone had to go to the bathroom right before a stock shot up or down.
This all comes back to the phone because that is how I have been using it. The Robinhood phone app is simply better than the desktop version. Both also have some lag as well so there is a lot going on preventing me from getting things done the way I want to and from having better battery life in my phone. It also makes me realize that AI will give some people more thinking power and further reach, and it is going to be interesting to watch it all unfold.
