It isn’t even 7:00 AM and I have already forgotten what day it is multiple times. I was picking out my shirt and wondering what shirt I’d wear for the improv show tomorrow. Then there were a couple other things.
I sat down to write this and looked at the time and remembered I had to go. The real bad thing though is I finally put my laundry away as soon as I got it upstairs and I got to pull it all out and rewash it. I attempted to wash my towel with my clothes and nothing got clean and I am fairly certain the clothes got worse. They smell like clothes left in a gym bag for too long.
That changes the equation of having to wear clothing today. I do have the option of skipping the Men’s Breakfast at church to do laundry but I am not sure that is the best use of time. The best thing to do is probably not to redo laundry immediately but to pull out shirts and if they stink throw them in the dirty laundry and then do laundry when it is full. It will just happen to fill up faster.
That is systems thinking in real time right there folks. I watched a YouTube video the other day on how rare people that think in systems are and I don’t believe it. I don’t know if I don’t believe it because I’m human and we tend to think our own experience is the default, my self doubt that keeps whispering to me that I’m not that smart, or because the YouTube video was wrong. There are a lot of options here.
The real important thing is that I need to change shirts. If you can smell yourself then you smell ten times worse to everyone else and this shirt stinks and it doesn’t matter how much Target cologne I try and cover it with. Then I will just smell like a sweety shirt covered in Target cologne.
The only issue is if I don’t have shirts that don’t stink, and why the shirts. Nothing else I washed stinks. The shorts are fine as are the socks, but who smells socks. Only a crazy person would smell socks and it isn’t like they are sitting directly below my noise. It is an issue because it is more work I wasn’t expecting, but it has to be done. I can’t be out in public like this.
I am sure at least one shirt is clean. Unless all the dirty shirts infected it. Also the t-shirts are fine. It is just the polos that got stunk up from the dirty towel. Which also isn’t clean and needs to be washed on its own. Everything smells and I hate it.
